AcrossLimits is a dynamic Maltese technology research and consulting SME with its roots firmly derived from the innovation and ICT sectors. In fact its core business is still centred around the areas of Internet-based solutions for business and educational purposes. However in the last years, AcrossLimits has diversified and now is made up of three main divisions, namely Technology, European projects and Education.

The company was established in June 2001 as a limited liability company, though its members already worked together prior to that date under a partnership agreement and in fact have been developing IT related systems since 1996.

AcrossLimits has been participating and helping organisations to benefit from EU funded projects for 8 years. Our expertise varies from technology and innovation research projects to development, digitisation, elearning, banking and logistics. We offer consultancy, training, mentoring, project proposal writing, project management and much more.

The commitment to research is strong in our company. We believe that only by continuously challenging the current technological state-of-the-art, can we continue to move forward and advance.

Our innovative solutions are the fruit of our own internal research combined with experience gathered in collaborative research with our European partners. Our clients therefore benefit directly from day one of our engagement by constantly having access to better, faster, more stable, easier to use and improved systems.

AcrossLimits operates from its head office in Hamrun, Malta but has representation offices also in Palermo (Sicily), San Giovanni Rotondo (Puglia - Southern Italy), Brussels (Belgium), Zaragoza (Spain) and Athens (Greece).

Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs (Malta)

The Foundation for Women Entrepreneurs (Malta) has been set up for the promotion of opportunities, awareness building, training and research in the field of Women Entrepreneurs and other gender issues in Malta, Europe and the Mediterranean.

We believe and realize that all women in Malta and abroad especially in the European and Mediterranean regions, have the right to be educated and receive equal opportunities in all aspects of their public and private life.

We believe that it is of paramount importance to create an awareness of the issues, challenges and social relevance of creating an entrepreneurial culture in women including all ethnic, social, geographical, religious and other minority groups.

FWE organises training and mentoring sessions on what it entails to open a business and highlights what is the process in order to achieve a successful business. It also participates heavily in European funded projects on subjects that deal with gender issues, women in technology and entrepreneurship.
